The Mercedes-Benz EQS gets the Manufacture customization options

The Mercedes-Benz EQS gets the Manufacture customization options Mercedes-Benz is making it easy for customers to create a unique EQS sedan. The electric variant of the S-class receives many customization options such as new paint colors and a more luxurious interior via the Manufacture program launched in 2021.

Both the regular EQS and the badged AMG model qualify for the Manufacture treatment. Nine paint hues join the palette including Vintage Blue and Kalahari Gold Mango. Some of these shades have been borrowed from the S-Class, and each is priced at €7,021 (about $7,500) in Germany. Our market pricing has not yet been announced, although buyers already have three Manufacture colors to choose from.

Priced at €1,487 (about $1,600), the Emblem Package adds high-pile floor mats and headrests embroidered with the Mercedes-Benz logo to EQS models ordered with the standard interior and black upholstery and black carpets. For a more luxurious interior, the Manufacture Interior Package includes leather-upholstered seats with diamond stitching, leather upholstery on the armrests, center console, lower part of the dashboard, high-pile floor mats with leather-upholstered trim, illuminated door sills, and embroidered trim. With either the Mercedes-Benz star or the Mercedes-AMG logo on the headrests. The final touch is the addition of the "Manufacture" emblem to the center console.

Buyers who opt for the interior package will have several colors to choose from, including three new colors called Tobacco Brown, Mystic Red, and Rosé Gray, respectively. The trade off is that adding this options package to the EQS costs €11,007 (about $11,800) in Germany. Prices for the US market have not been released. We've contacted the company and will update this story if we learn more.
